e.l.f. Beauty case study done for PRL 214: Public Relations Writing and Messaging

The following information is not intended to be factual but is part of a class writing assignment from January to May 2024 at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University. All information is intended to be sourced appropriately.
D.E.I.B Paper: e.l.f. Beauty is a trail blazer in their corporate social responsibility. I studied the "e.l.f. Cares" annual reviews and summarized my findings in this paper.

Audience Persona Assignment: In this assignment I created two audience personas for e.l.f. Beauty that I would target in messaging throughout the semester.

Applying the PESO Model: In this assignment I completed a strategic plan on how e.l.f. Beauty could execute a campaign to publicize a 20th anniversary gala and product launch.

Media News Release: I took on the role of e.l.f. Beauty's Public Relations Director and wrote an email to a reporter announcing details of the 20th anniversary gala.

Media Contacts List: I complied a list of media contacts that would be fit for media pitches from e.l.f. Beauty.

Media Advisory: Media advisory written about e.l.f. Beauty's 20th Anniversary Gala.

Media Pitch Memo: Media pitch memo written to media contact of beauty industry trade, Women's Wear Daily offering exclusive of anniversary gala.

Email Blast: Through utilizing MailChimp I wrote and designed a email blast written from Tarang P. Amin, e.l.f. Beauty CEO, announcing a partnership with ANAD. The partnership is an idea I created as I think company messages would pair well together, creating support for all eyes, lips, faces and bodies.

Fact Sheet: Contains information regarding e.l.f. Beauty's anniversary gala at the Beverly Hills Hotel.

Professional Biography: I interviewed Samantha Critchell, Head of Corporate Communications at e.l.f. Beauty, on her professional life and summarized my findings in a paper.

Newsjacking: Here is a social media post promoting an e.l.f. product using the popularity of "Dune 2."

Mock Media Briefing: In the following documents you can read my talking points for a group assignment in which we role-played a media briefing in response to a controversy. My group selected the Washington Redskins name change to the Washington Commanders and I played the role of the Commanders DEI Lead.
